Movement specialise in freeride, their skis are amongst the best I’ve tried for back-country hooning so I’d expect the Freeheel to be “up there” – its a while since I’ve telemarked so I’ll let Movement explain this one.
The manufacturer says this about the Movement Freeheel Skis 2009:
The Tele insider’s tip is the Freeheel, with a totally new shape that gains length and lift. It’s proprietary Okume, Karuba, Poplar composite wood-core remains asymmetric and thanks to the Titanal plate inserts there is unmatched stability and smoothness at speed. It is THE performance telemark ski for expert telemarkers ripping big mountain terrain.
