Salomon Czar Skis 2008

Salomon Czar Skis 2008

The Czars are meaty, funky back-country skis with Salomon’s “Rockering” system. The tip is turned up to give you a shorted effective running length making the Czars easier to handle when not in the deep stuff plus the core is wood and feels ultra-stable at speed – as do their smaller siblings the Lord and the Lady.

On test the Czar received heaps of praise for being so stable and predictable in the crud yet they still feel fun and have lots of life – they are a completely new generation of Salomon skis and feel very different from their skis of old.

For a big stomping Freeride ski without going too silly on width and length the Czars are perfect, useable, tolerant, fun, strong and great for European powder days. rating – 99/100

Almost perfect.

The manufacturer says this about the Salomon Czar Skis 2008:

Write another page of freeskiing.
