Ferociously grippy with Volkl’s aggressive tuning the RC’s on test were fitted with the optional, and very effective, Piston Control. "Piston Control Oil Suspension" is available on all the Racetiger models, acting as an oil dampener would on a race car the "’Piston" filters out many of the vibrations and bumps you feel when skiing hard, icy pistes at speed.
The RC itself is the perfect high-speed cruiser for the ex-racer or aggressive expert skier looking for high-speed thrills, big angles but they don’t have the physical strength or long term fitness to ski a full-on race ski for a full days skiing.
A great ski for the very aggressive and rapidly progressing advanced carving skier or expert looking for a precision weapon to wield them at speed around some fast groomed trails.
